McPherson College is expanding to 21 varsity sport McPherson College is expanding to 21 varsity sports with the addition of #STUNTtheSport ✨ This program will begin competition in the Spring of 2027, making McPherson College the only #CollegeSTUNT program playing in Kansas 👏   Director of Athletics Josh Daume states, “The addition of a varsity STUNT program represents yet another step forward in the growth of our athletics program. It provides further opportunities for young women to participate at the varsity level while earning an outstanding degree from McPherson College. We’re particularly excited to be the first school in the state of Kansas to add this fast-paced and growing sport to our department.”    “We hope our addition inspires other institutions in Kansas to launch STUNT programs and encourages continued growth throughout the Midwest and Mountain West,” Coach Snyder said. “There are still many neighboring states without collegiate STUNT opportunities, and we’re excited to help build the future of the sport in our region.”   Read the full release on McPhearson College Athletics website🐾

This week’s ‘Why STUNT?’ @twustunt athlete, NaKarl This week’s ‘Why STUNT?’ @twustunt athlete, NaKarla Arriola, tells us how #STUNTtheSport changes lives far beyond the mat ☺️   “In a fast-paced world, it’s easy to go through the motions to get things done, but STUNT has never given me that option. Because the sport is so technical, every single skill, every grip, every transition, every count, must be executed with intent. This has translated directly into my everyday life; it has taught me to slow down and approach my responsibilities one thing at a time. Whether it’s in the classroom or my personal life, STUNT has shaped me into a more mindful and purposeful person who understands that success is the result of focused, intentional actions.   My favorite part about STUNT is undoubtedly the community. Even as the sport has grown and become more competitive over the years, that core sense of mutual respect has remained the same. There is a unique culture here where, despite being in a head-to-head match, I have friends on opposing collegiate teams who are just as excited to see me hit a clean skill as my own teammates are. It’s incredibly rewarding to compete in an environment where everyone is pushing the sport forward together, and having that support system across the mat makes the hard work feel like part of something much bigger than just a score.” 🥰   Looking to start your journey?
